Comments
All are near-mint except a tape stain on top-left of the back cover. Plays so beautifully.
Inside The Groove
A gem of jazzy songs written by Hoagy Carmichael, sung by a popular singer.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Rusty Draper was very popular during the 1950s with several Popular/Country hits. On this album, however, he sings twelve tunes all written by Hoagy Carmichael, in a jazzy mood.
Unlike the nice photo of the front cover shows,
Rusty is accompanied by a nice big-band sound on this album,
and maybe Hoagy himself plays a piano in the background
(it has not been confirmed yet, though).
Rusty's singing is worth listening to (yet another little Frank Sinatra?),
but above of all wonderful melodies by Hoagy moves us much.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
7 out of 10
