Mr. Gary Campbell, who is Dick Campbell's son, kindly contacted me on this great album. He even let me know the detailed discographic information on this album. Thank you so much!
Inside The Groove
A great Dylan-influenced sound backed by the Butterfield Blues Band members.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Dylan has been great of course. He has left many influences to all other musicians in various ways. When he switched to electric sound, many followers came into the Folk-Rock world. Some even tried to imitate Dylan's new sound, like The Mouse And The Traps.
This album, by Dick Campbell, also represents Dylan-like sound and lyrics. However, it's not just an imitation. Although it doesn't have gruesome, ghastly force like Dylan did, it shows another fine example during the Folk-Rock era in the 1960s.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
9 out of 10
