Mercury 200/600 Series (7-inch 33rpm)

33rpm 7-inch LP, also known ad “Little LP”, was released mainly for Jukebox and DJ purposes. This is why existing copies comes with title strips as well as facsimile of jacket covers (for Jukebox display). Back cover is simply white with no liner-notes - which also indicates this releases were not meant for ordinary market.

Early copies comes with bold paper insert, instead of jacket cover.

In its introduction, Mercury 200/600 series were original compilations, but gradually they became abridged versions of Mercury 12-inch releases. No less than 70 titles were ever released in Mercury 200/600 series, but there are several titles whose details are unknown, even on the Ruppli's discography. Further investigation is needed.
