EmArcy MGE/SRE Series

[EmArcy MGE/SRE Logo]

The original EmArcy Series ( 26000 series : 10" , 36000 series : 12" ) was ceased to be released in the late 1950s. However in the mid-1960s, this new EmArcy series began its release again. This series, the prefix SRE for Stereo, MGE for Monaural, was released under 26000 series (Monaural) and 66000 series (Stereo).

Most materials in this series were from Dutch label Philips' Jazz recordings: Philips and Mercury signed an exchange agreement each other in the early 1960s, and later Mercury came under the umbrella of Philips. However, there are several exception in this series - some include re-issues.
