Comments

with original Mercury inner sleeve.

Inside The Groove

One of the greatest tenor saxes' team. Groovy, blowing and swingy.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

The Cohn - Sims team is very famous and left a number of fine recordings (one of the finest one is maybe “A Night At The Half Note”), and this album also is. We may be surprised to see Mose Allison's name at the piano, but he plays in very modern touch. Osie Johnson on the drums also digs the nice job.

Actually, this albums is awesome, a very nice album as a fine example of Modern Jazz. All tunes played on this album are also fine in melodies. I love it.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

10 out of 10
