a paper piece sticked onto the back cover - maybe by previous owner.
Inside The Groove
A compilation of George Barnes and Bud Freeman's original Keynote recordings.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Side-A features George Barnes' sextet performance on September 1946. George Barnes plays incredible guitar here, though it is not just a pure straightahead jazz kind.
On the other hand, Side-B captures Bud Freeman's finest all-star ensemble recorded on December 1945. Very swingy, powerful and emotional.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
7 out of 10
