Inside The Groove
a modest-touched piano trio, which reminds us of a lyrical version of Erroll Garner.
All tunes are also available on EP-1-6013 and EP-1-6014.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Beryl Booker was a self-taught in playing piano but sounds like a lyrical version of Erroll Garner, a great one-and-only stylist. Although some fans love her piano stylings, I couldn't fully enjoy her play, unfortunately.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
5 out of 10
