Comments
According to the label's print, MG-50002 is a renumbered issue of MG-10118.
This copy's matrix imprints has FR suffix (Indy-pressed) - I believe the earliest copy should have YMG prefix and MF suffix. And this copy may be middle 1950s pressings.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Rafael Kubelik and Chicago Symphony left a series of fine recordings. This “New World” symphony is also thrilling and powerful as the rest of their 1951-1953 sessions.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
8 out of 10
