Comments

Equivalent release: Mercury SR-90095 (stereo), but I haven't confirmed whether stereo version was actually released.

with original Mercury Living Presence inner sleeve.

Very early pressing with matrix imprints with YMG prefix and MF suffix - the earliest variation of the pressings at the RCA Victor Indianapolis plant. It is known to exist in the short era from 1954 thru early 1956 (for monaural only). This variation also exists in early Popular series and early EmArcy series. See the Matrix Number Variations section for the details of the discussion.

Since this recording was cut in August 1955, YMG pressings definitely indicate this is one of the earliest pressings.

A great monaural recording - sharp and crisp.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)
