Judging from matrix imprints/inscriptions, this album was once assigned to MG C-108, then renumbered to this MG C-506.
Small tear near the bottom-left on the back cover, as well as taped stains on both seams and the spine.
A fine coupling of “The King of Jive” and “The King of Boogie Woogie”.
Both sides are from legendary 1946 JATP live recordings.
Side-A features Slim Gaillard duo. It's really amazing that by only two people playing piano, guitar, bass, drums and voices, they creates very swingy and jivy music. What a great music!
Side-B features Meade Lux Lewis' solo piano. Still interesting to listen to.
