Comments
Equivalent release: Mercury MG-20413 (mono).
with original Mercury inner sleeve.
When I obtained this copy back in 2002, it was “sealed” - unlike ordinary “factory seal over the entire cover”, the factory inner sleeve had a sticker over the opening edge. Of course I opened it and played it - the disc looked virtually new. Please note that the scanned images of the factory inner sleeve (shown far below) is not the exact one which came with this album.
Inside The Groove
Nice, swingy and danceable sounds by Clyde Otis, a Mercury records's Recording Engineer, a songwriter, and also an arranger.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
It may be categorized under “Easy-Listening”, but it really swings with dynamic sounds. It's really much better than I expected (before I bought this album).
Sound quality and pressing quality is great (an FR press).
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
7 out of 10
