SR-90222: Popovers / Eastman-Rochester “Pops”, Fennell

[Front Cover] Label Type : maroon Mercury type ?
Matrix Number : SIDE-A SR 90222A FR6    P17    A1    I
SIDE-B SR90212B FR5    SR90222B FR5    A1    I

Comments

Equivalent release: Mercury MG-50222 (mono).

Although the Side-B has inscribed matrix (not imprinted matrix), this copy is definitely RCA Victor Indy pressing. Maybe Side-B's dead wax area was so narrow, which was a reason of inscribed matrix (too narrow to use imprinted matrix).

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

The sound is rather greater than many people have complained IMHO. On the other hand, all tracks are very popular ones and no-serious kinds.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

5 out of 10
