Inside The Groove
US 1st issue of original Storyville recording.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Here is an unique Stuff Smith playin' with Kenny Drew Trio, live at the Montmartre Jazz Club. With the help of Kenny Drew, Niels Henning Orsted Petersen and Alex Riel, he plays swingy, dirty, eccentric, and "beautiful" violin. He is definitely the master of jazz violin!
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
9 out of 10
