Personal Impression (and brief notes)

As the album title represents, this compilation holds very moody ballads - male vocalists on Side-A, female stylists on Side-B.

The most remarkable track is B-3 “Alone Together” by Helen Merrill: this track was available only on original EmArcy 78rpm/45rpm releases, this LP, and “The Complete Helen Merrill on Mercury” 4LP box. Furthermore there are several tracks here which are available only on this LP (except original 78rpm/45rpm releases).
