Comments

Both the disc and the cover in beautiful condition!

Some of the tracks were previously released on MG-25158.

Inside The Groove

A truly great mainstream jazz session by Bud Freeman's all-stars, from original Keynote recordings.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

All tracks have fascinating and charming moments - delicate, sophisticated, as well as powerful and swingy collective improvisations are all great. The key player on the first session (Side-B) would be Bud Freeman himself, while on the second session (Side-A) the drummer Dave Tough's play sounds most important.

Again, a great mainstream session in the middle 1940s.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
