Comments

Front cover drawing was by “Dauber” - is this artist that “Elizabeth Dauber” ?

Inside The Groove

Machito's yet another album which consists of his 78rpm/45rpm releases.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

This is Machito's 2nd album left on Norman Granz-produced series (his 1st album was MG C-505 “Afro-Cuban Jazz Suite”). Although all tracks were originally recorded for 78rpm/45rpm single releases, they also have superior fascination of what the Afro-Cuban Jazz was like.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

8 out of 10
