Comments
Equivalent release: Mercury MG-21156 (mono).
with original Mercury inner sleeve.
Front cover autographed by four (out of five) members - but I'm not certain about its reliability and authenticity (although the seller said it was genuine).
UPDATED (Mar. 07, 2004): I could have a contact to Mr. Jeff Myer, who was a member of the Savage Resurrection. He confirmed these autograph are all FAKE.
Inside The Groove
A famous, hard-to-find heavy Psychedelic album.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
The Savage Resurrection, a West Coast Psychedelic band in the late 1960s, left this album only, full of Jimi Hendrix obsession. The members were from two West Coast local groups, Button Willow and Whatever's Right.
And this must be one of the greatest (typical) heavy Psyche (and Garage) sounds ever recorded in the 1960s. Based on the R&B manner, brilliant twin guitar sounds spark, while experimental echoes and sound effects runs to and fro. I really love this kinda sound, amazing acid-rock. Excellent!
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
10 out of 10
