洗車 (もりもとさんの日記より)
ナンバープレートも歯ブラシで掃除してみたりする。
グリフが複雑な数字よりは、単純な数字のほうが汚れがたまりにくく、掃除もしやすいという当たり前のことに気づく。
ということは、「練馬330 あ ・・・1」みたいな番号の車に乗っている人は ((中略)) きれい好きで思慮深いから。という人も多少はいるのだろう。1/100 ぐらいは。
そこまで仰るなら「練馬」なんて複雑なグリフじゃなくて「大分」とか「山口」とかのナンバーにしないと! 少なくとも「練馬」や「滋賀」よりは汚れが溜りにくいかな? いや，「山」は汚れが溜りそうな形に見えて来た...
「分」という字をじーっと眺めていると，パチンコの釘に見えて来ました． ナンバープレートの汚れは，パチンコ理論を援用するとよいのかしら．
都心部の洗車場代の高さに辟易としており，大津在住時，だだっぴろいコイン洗車場で，待ち行列もなく 200〜300円でふふふーんと気軽に洗車出来たあの頃が懐かしいです．この前半年振りに洗車場で洗車しましたが，800円もかかりました．
某MLでの post より．ああ懐かしい，あの伝説の銅像の歴史が此処に．
私は学生時代 (なんで京大に遊びに行ったんやったか忘れたけど) 伝説のヤキソバンを目撃し，その場で抱腹絶倒になったのを覚えています．

はったさん による「ダメコンピレーションの代名詞」的な烙印が印象的な(?) Proper Music．しかし Mosaic Records のボックスなんかと比較するのは余りにも酷です．それに，なんといっても「安い」．これは重要です．コンプリートじゃないったって，web みたら分かることですし（笑）
で，最近「当り」「お買い得!」だったのが，Charlie Ventura の 4枚組ボックス．確かにパッケージもちゃちい感じなのですが，何せとんでもなく安い．4枚組なのにほとんど 1枚ものと同じ値段です．それと，このテの廉価盤コンピレーションにしては音質はちゃんとしている．ディスコグラフィーが目的の半分だった私にとっては充分満足できるものでした．
某MLでもお願いメールを流したのですが，此処にも書いておきます．
に調べて頂きたいことがあります．
私が出品した LP を落札した Norway 在住のレコードコレクターの方が教えてくれました．

The $20 USD issue: Yes, you are correct, it has something to do with taxes. In Norway (this may differ) the government have decided that all imported stuff which are taxable (almost everything except books) and exceeds a certain limit (ca $30 USD) have to be taxed with a penalty fee of a varying degree. If you wrote value like $50 USD , 24 % of the whole amount plus a taxation fee (this is fixed= always $20 USD) must be paid before the parcel is handed out. As you will see, this is a very expensive way of buying records. Of course there's a moral aspect to it, is it OK to "cheat" the government of it's rightful taxes? I think yes, because the way we deal here is not meant for commercial reasons, it's to expand our collections, our private collections. The tax is there in the first place to protect our nation's interests, which is understandable, but in the case of record-collecting it's just silly because noone here in our country is trying to sell the same goods, and then there is no competition!!
流石北欧，こんなところでも税率が高いんですね... しかし何故書籍だけ除外されるんやろう?

悲しい事に，ローカルニュース等で小さく報道されるだけなんだそうです．
つい先日 LP を落札して この人の音楽の魅力にふれ出したところだったのに.... 合掌．
