Inside The Groove

Ernestine Anderson's first album on Mercury (original release was Swedish Metronome).

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Ernestine went to Sweden in 1956, with an allstar Jazz group headed by Swedish-American trumpet player Rolf Ericson. And suddenly she was an overnight sensation over there.

...yes that was a very famous story about Ernestine. This album, recorded in Sweden, captures full of her fascination. Some tunes backed up with Harry Arnold Orchestra, some with a trio. Anyway all tunes are awesome. A great Jazz vocal album.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

10 out of 10
