Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Patti Page, one of the top sellers of Mercury family, left so many albums under the Mercury label. This album is her first album on Jazz subsidiary EmArcy label, and also this is one of the earliest Popular recordings made in Stereo (this stereo version was firstly released in 1958, while conventional monaural edition circa 1956).

Patti sang all kinds of stuffs, many of them in modest popular format, but on this album she sings backed up with swingy and jazzy big-band. Definitely one of her greatest Jazz sessions ever made on Mercury.
