Comments
MGW-12005 is an original issue of Mercury MG-20209.
Both the disc and the cover exceptionally in near-mint condition!
Inside The Groove
A collection of Buddy Johnson orchestra's great R&B Jump sounds.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Buddy Johnson, a famous R&B bigband leader and a piano player,
left several albums and singles in the middle 1950s.
This is one of them.
His sound is not so aggressive as Louis Jordan,
but it really rocks and rolls. Great Jump music.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
8 out of 10
