Comments
“III” stamped both on the label and the back side of the cover :
maybe a 2nd issue in the late 1950s - early 1960s.
Inside The Groove
A great R&B Jump-style orchestra sound.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Buddy Johnson, a famous R&B bigband leader and a piano player,
left several albums and singles in the middle 1950s.
This is one of them.
His sound is not so aggressive as Louis Jordan,
but it really rocks and rolls. Great Jump music.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
8 out of 10
