Inside The Groove
A 12-inch version of Billy Eckstine's love songs collection,
featuring all tracks of
MG-26027
plus two extra tracks,
all from original National recordings.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
This 12-inch LP is an expanded version of
10-inch LP with the same title (MG-26027),
plus two tracks.
All tunes are “Love Songs” as the title says,
and Billy Eckstine's marvellous vocal is great as always.
On the other hand, since this is a ballad album,
backing musicians' solos are not fully featured.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
7 out of 10
