Comments

Front cover has suffered from unusual foginess under the laminate, which was common among EmArcy releases in the era.

Inside The Groove

Swedish most famous baritone saxophonist Lars Gullin's 4th album on EmArcy, from original Swedish Metronome recordings.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Lars Gullin's 4th album on EmArcy label is something unusual - his sextet is backed up with the voices of a sixteen piece choir. Luckily, this doesn't mean the LP is fully commercial and easy-listening type. The choir sounds like a backing instruments or string section, and it's very impressive.

Two tracks are played by the sextet only, which captures yet another fine baritone improvisations by Lars Gullin.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

8 out of 10
