Inside The Groove

Helen Merril's 4th leader album on EmArcy, featuring strings, in the midnight mood.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Like her second EmArcy LP (MG-36057), this album also features string section, and has very similar mood throughout the album. Arrangements by Hal Mooney is adequate and appropriate to make Helen's voice sound very attractive. Another nice album.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
