Inside The Groove

Nice danceable big-band ensemble by Buddy Morrow, with fabulous Dorsey Brothers on his mind.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Mercury launched a subsidiary label Wing in this year (later it was changed to a budget low-price series). This is the very first album on the Wing label.

This album, a compilation from Buddy Morrow's various sessions in 1955 (some are from the same session as MGW-12006), is definitely a very swingy and danceable big band record.
