Inside The Groove

A great popper in the psychedelic era, produced by Jerry Ross.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

This great album contains many pure Pop tunes. It's a nice example of late-1960's Soft Rock in the U.S. I love this kind of sound too much.

And we must note the great producer Jerry Ross. Maybe he is one of the important key-person in the 1960s, in a sense he was a “bridge” or “missing link” between Pops (with some Soul) in the 1960s and Philadelphia Soul in the 1970s.

Without any doubts, the big hits like A-1 and A-2 is really awesome. Perfect tunes. And I must mention B-1, which is a pretty song by the Hollies, originally included in their great album “For Certain Because...”. Keith's version is also nice.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
