Comments

a cut-out hole on jacket cover. with original Mercury inner sleeve.

Inside The Groove

One of the fine products backed up with famous producers Jerry Ross.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

It's Keith's second album, a follower of his famous 1st album “98.6 / Ain't Gonna Lie”. Like the 1st album, this contains many pure Pop tunes. It's a nice example of late-1960's Soft Rock in the U.S. I love this kind of sound too much.

And we must note the great producer Jerry Ross. Maybe he is one of the important key-person in the 1960s, in a sense he was a “bridge” or “missing link” between Pops (with some Soul) in the 1960s and Philadelphia Soul in the 1970s. As a matter of fact, look at the name of the songwriters of B-4: you can see Kenny Gamble's name along with Jerry Ross himself.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
