I've been working so hard day by day on the translation supervision of a certain technical book for preparing the Japanese edition. Some of this translation drafts contain very funny misinterpretation. Here are some of them I could find until now - listing here as a memorandam . . . please don't get me wrong, I never intend to blame on the person who is responsible for the initial translation . . .
- « The Sky Is The Limit »
- (Japanese translation should read as “The sky is limited to a certain amount” or something like that)
- « I Never Meta Refresh I Didn't Like »
- (Japanese translation should read as “I don't use Meta Refresh, because I don't like it”)
- « . . . couldn't be simpler »
- (Japanese translation should read as “it's so difficult and can't get it simplify even a little bit”)
