Personal Impression (and brief notes)

“Mambo Moves Garner”? Actually several tunes have “Mambo” in their titles (Mambo Garner, Mambo Blues, Mambo Nights), but without engaging such “Mambo” gimmick, this album is nothing but awesome in itself.

Backed up with Candido's conga along with Wyatt Ruther's bass and Eugene Heard on drums, Garner plays so awesome as he could. Up-tempo numbers are even funky. His magnificient one-and-only touch creates a true beautiful, happy but emotional music.

I love this album too much.
