Inside The Groove

One of the Garner's greatest album ever, recorded in his later career.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Erroll Garner left many of his nice recordings mainly in 1950s. But after I hear this album, I think it may be true that we can enjoy his versatile and awesome “one-and-only” style more in his later recordings.

All of the tunes presented here, some of them by his own writings, others much “polular” tunes, are all great in dramatic arrangements, except “Yesterday” :-P . One of Garner's most dynamic play can be heard on “Spinning Wheel”. I love this album much.
