Another copy I once had, a bit later pressing, comes with the jacket whose back side has red print “EmArcy Album MG 36001”, which cannot be found on this 1st pressing copy.

Garner's famous 1954 trio recordings, including the original “Misty”.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Erroll Garner's sessions on July 27th, 1954 left many of his fine recordings. The most popular tune is, without any doubts, “Misty”, which was firstly recorded in this session. Other “July 27 1954” tunes than those included in this album were introduced later in many albums such as Mercury MG-20662 “Erroll Garner Plays Misty”.

A masterpiece.
