Inside The Groove

A genius Roland Kirk's first album on Mercury label.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

This awesome album should be a basic “must-be” item for all Jazz listeners. You should not be a prisoner of “music genre” boundaries: He always play very spiritual, emotional but sincere, devoted himself into creating music. He always plays as he is.

Listen closely to A-1, A-4 or B-1 ... Roland Kirk plays from the bottom of his heart - very emotional and awesome. The remainings are also great.

The phrase “A great album” must be used for something like this album.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

10 out of 10
