Inside The Groove

Butler's nice album released in 1969, backed up with Gamble-Huff team.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

His previous album “Ice Man Cometh” (SR-61198) was a big hit, with awesome arrangements and productions by Gample and Huff. This album is also a Gamble-Huff production. Butler's smooth but soulful singing is enriched by early Philly sound. Great.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

8 out of 10
