Inside The Groove

Ralph Marterie orchestra with mellow strings, but also swingy.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Their 1st 12-inch LP release, MG-20010 also contained mellow tracks with sweety strings arrangements. However on this album, which was recorded 5 years later, the Marterie orchestra sounds much more swingy and powerful in spite of backing strings section.

A good swingin' album against my expectation.
