Inside The Groove
A typical post-war dance band sound in the 1950s - but it really swings!
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
This album, although most of the songs were not so attractive for me,
was inevitable only because it contained a great tune
“Castle Rock”.
The band swings, honkers blow hard... it's a nice tune.
And as I get familiar with such dance big band music,
I really come to like this album - it's not a thrilling
jazz full of improvisations, but this stylish swinging band
sounds attractive.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
7 out of 10
