Comments

A true 1st press in fine condition with minimal scuffs. The back side of the jacket is suffered from browning.

All tunes also available on EP-1-6091 and EP-1-6092.

Inside The Groove

Very unique piano player's first leader album on EmArcy.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

John Williams, who is not the same musician as much more popular movie-music composer, but a unique jazz piano player, left two leader albums on EmArcy label. This is the first one (the other is MG-36061 12-inch).

His piano style sounds the influence of Horace Silver, but more stylish as well as structured. Very impressive trio.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
