Comments

Pressed by the 4th stamper (“D” letter in the matrix number), but plays very great sound with minimal noise.

All tunes are also available on EP-1-6060 and EP-1-6061.

A-2 and B-2 are also available on Mercury 70086 (78rpm) and 70086x45 (45rpm).

A-1 and B-1 are also available on Mercury 70138 (78rpm) and 70138x45 (45rpm).

B-3 also issued on Mercury 8272 (78rpm).

Inside The Groove

Another great session by “The Vice Pres”.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Except the title track B-3 (comes from the same session on MG-26022), all tunes are the missing links between MG-26021, MG-26022 and MG-36003. I believe Paul's beautiful play on A-2 must be one of his best results throughout his life.

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

9 out of 10
