Inside The Groove

Brook Benton's second last album on Mercury, singing Country songs in Benton's manner.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Brook Benton sings Country songs, but the sounds are not Country - it's just the Brook Benton sound “in the Brook Benton's manner” as always. In some ways, Brook successfully represents these Country tunes as if written especially for him. But at the same time, don't expect Country sounds for this album :)

Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)

7 out of 10
