Devine Sarah's 2nd album on EmArcy label, in a very relaxed setting.

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Her 1st 12-inch album on EmArcy (MG-36004) was a masterpiece. Throughout her EmArcy/Mercury years, MG-36004 will come one of her greatest albums (others should include such great albums as MG-20326 or MG-20383 / SR-60020). On MG-36004, we can even enjoy great performance by Clifford Brown and Paul Quinichette.

This album, her 2nd album on EmArcy, was recorded about an year later, also deserves one of her masterpieces. Featured soloists here are Ernie Royal, Cannonball Adderley, Jimmy Jones, etc.

Ernie Wilkins' arrangements for this swinging band is great, while Sarah sings too good in a relaxed mood, although this recording was done in the studio. A very lovable album.
