A thrilling jam session with ex-Stan Kenton band's pals.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
Maynard Ferguson, Herbie Harper, Bud Shank, Bob Cooper, Bob Gordon, Shelly Manne ... all from the Stan Kenton band. This will guarantee the high voltage and supreme capabilities. Actually the jam session heard on this LP is great. Maynard, who always tends to pride himself on high-note hitting, does what he sounds like here again, but very impressive.
A great West-Coast jam session album.
