pressed by the 1st stamper: the disc has several scuffs, but plays rather fine.

All tunes are previously available on EP-1-6002 and EP-1-6006.

Side-B's four tunes will be included in the 12-inch LP MG-36027.

Inside The Groove

A nice coupling of The Pres and The Vice Pres (they don't play together - just from different sessions).

Personal Impression (and brief notes)

Side-A: See Side-B of MG-25015.

Side-B: Paul Qunichette's 1951 Mercury session with interesting members. Bill Doggett's organ as well as Freddie Green's guitar provides unique atmosphere to the Vice Pres. Of course the Vice Pres himself plays very emotional but mellow here again.

Although the concept of this coupling seems to be too easy, both sides include really great pre-modern tenor plays. Another very nice mainstream jazz album.
