学生時代にイヤという程聴き込んだ懐かしのアルバム達。何年か振りに久し振りに聴いてみると、昔抱いた印象と随分違うものも少なくありません。昔は気付かなかった新たな魅力に気付くもの (実際はこれが多いのですが) もあれば、「あれ、こんなんだっけ?」と拍子抜けしてしまうものもあったり。先日、懐かしさのあまりオリジナル盤 (一応両面マトリクス 1A です) を見つけてつい買ってしまったこのアルバム、私にとっては (どういうわけか) 後者に属するものでした。そんなこともあるもんですねぇ。

There are dearly beloved albums which I listened to so many times when I was still young – after long years I sometimes have a chance to listen to such albums again. Some LPs give me yet another fascinations I did not notice a long ago, while some others will not show me magical charms anymore. Unfortunately, this album (of which I found and bought the original pressing with 1A matrix on both sides) belongs to the latter case – it’s what happens anyhow.
