Comments
writing on back cover; taped seams on the both top/bottom jacket.
Later reissued as
Mercury MG-20559
(mono)
and
Mercury SR-60128
(stereo),
but it is very doubtful that these 2nd issue was actually released.
Inside The Groove
Max Roach's fine Hard-Bop session featuring a new star Booker Little.
Personal Impression (and brief notes)
This album is maybe one of the finest example of
Hard-Bop style Jazz in the late 1950s.
The most noticeable thing is that this is maybe the first recording
for young trumpetter Booker Little.
Little plays and blows like he exactly is in all tunes.
Strictly Personal Rating (to what extent I could enjoy this album)
9 out of 10
