昨年 瀬谷さんのお宅に伺った 際に、瀬谷さんから頂いた SP 用輸送ケース。年に何度か郵送されてくるオークションサイトのカタログにステッカーが同梱されていましたので、このケースに貼ってみました。
Seya-san kindly gave his spare 78rpm carrying case to me for free when I visited Seya-san’s house last year along with Okamura-san. Today I pasted a sticker onto the carrying case – the sticker was included in 78rpm auction catalogue book which was mailed to me regularly.

瀬谷さんが現在でもお使いのケースを見せて頂いた時には、それはもう大小さまざまなステッカーが貼られていました。それを拝見していると、これまでに瀬谷さんが SP を蒐集されてきて、いろんなコレクター仲間と過ごし、音楽を楽しんでこられた年季と愛情のようなものすら感じさせられました。果して、私のケースには、今後どんなステッカーが貼られていくことになりましょうか。果して、今後どんな音楽ライフを過ごすことになりましょうか。
I saw Seya-san’s own carrying case when I visited his house, and I felt very impressed to see so many stickers – from small one to big – pasted on it. I felt it was a representation of how Seya-san spent with many 78rpms, how he enjoyed music life with many friends, how he had struggled with obtaining scarce 78rpms, and so on. Well, what about mine? What kind of stickers will be pasted on my case as time goes by? And how will I spend what kind of music life in the future?

とはいえ、頻繁にレコードコンサートなどのイベントを開催されて大忙しの瀬谷さんとは違い、今のところは SP を外に持ち歩く機会も滅多にない私。このケースが大活躍する日はまだ少し遠そうです . . .
However at the moment, I have few chances to carry my 78rpms out with this case, unlike Seya-san who is very busy holding 78rpm playback concerts very often. Hope I will take this 78rpm case out frequently someday . . .

ケースに貼る手もありましたね。
私のケースは20年以上経っていますが、shaolinさんのも10年は経っていると思います。
最近はケースの出番が少なくなり、反省の日々です。
今年は会を始めて20年だし、何かやらないとと、焦っています。
