Two lovable guys, hopelessly stubborn kinda individuals, perfection of anachronism – they are Lee Mavers (of The La’s) and Edgar Summertime (of The Stairs), both of who left remarkable individualities in the UK Indie Rock scene in the early 1990s. Recently I happened to know Edgar Summertime released his first solo album (under his real name, Edgar ‘Jones’ Jones) in 2005, which is so astonishing and astounding.
