1968年4月5日、キング牧師暗殺の翌日にボストン・ガーデンで行われたジェームス・ブラウンのコンサートは、市内の暴動を助長する恐れから開催が危ぶまれましたが、市長との話し合いにより解決。ライブはボストン市内のテレビとラジオで生中継されたのち何度も再放送され、結果として市内での暴動を食い止めました。

Vampire and Overhang Party at U.F.O. Club
2006年9月4日、高円寺の U.F.O. Club でのライブに行ってきました。平成のジャックス (?)、パンク化したソフトマシーン (Alian Social Dance Party)、ニューウェーブパンクの生き残りが変拍子化 (これが Vampire ね)、ジョンボーナムが加入したライド (これは Overhang Party – 最高!) と形容出来るかの如きバラエティの豊かさ。久し振りの爆音で耳がおかしくなりましたよ . . .
